Sharron Sutton

Sharron Sutton (née Bunker) was born in Mount Barker, WA in 1962. She attended the local primary school and Senior High School before furthering her education in Perth at Churchlands Teacher's College. 


Sharron graduated as a primary school teacher at the end of 1981, before taking up her first teaching position in South Hedland (1982-1991). Her teaching career spanned 29 years and Sharron taught in Esperance (1992-1994), Denmark (1995-1998), Albany (1999-2006) and Mandurah (2007-2011).


Since joining Murray Arts and Crafts Society, Sharron has happily tutored a scrapbooking workshop and card classes, joined the Committee and has taken on various functions including Assistant Treasurer and more recently Treasurer.


Sharron is a passionate crafter who loves anything paper, material or textile. Her specific crafts include scrapbooking, cardmaking, parchment craft, patchwork, sewing, embroidery (both hand & machine), candlewicking, knitting and crocheting to name a few. 

 

Threads Yarns & Hookers is a knitting/crocheting/yarn etc group run by Sharron on the first and third Saturday of each month from 1pm to 4pm. Basically a self help group but the if you have an interest that has never quite surfaced, come along - there are loads of talent in this group all willing to assist and pass on their knowledge.
